St Andrews – Lindores Field School Partnership in June 2024
The 2024 Global St Andrews summer learning course on the History and Archaeology of Monastic Scotland will be the opening season of an ongoing partnership between the St Andrews School of History, The Saint Andrews Centre for Archaeology, Technology, and History, and Lindores Abbey Distillery. This innovative collaboration at the intersection of History, Archaeology, Heritage, and Business will centre on excavations at twelfth-century Lindores Abbey in Newburgh (Fife). Student earn transferable St Andrews credit while leaning about history, archaeology, and sustainable heritage. Applications for the June 2024 programme will open in September.
